There is nothing official yet, much less we can use it in the latest beta version, but it seems WhatsApp for Android is finally working to introduce a Dark Mode and optimized for OLED screens.
WABetaInfo revealed it and also created some screenshot concepts to anticipate what the final result of WhatsApp’s new Dark Mode might be.
A new feature of Swipe To Reply can be made official
The function, not yet activated with Beta version 2.18.282 but implemented, resumes what was introduced years ago with iOS, i.e. make a gesture (a slip in this case) to respond quickly to a message.
We remind you that to download this Beta version from Google Play before you have to convert into beta testers. If you are not yet a beta tester, you will no longer be able to be a beta tester, so if you want to try this new feature you must download the APK of the application by other means, we leave a download link: APK Mirror.
