WhatsApp for Android is updated with giant emoticons

WhatsApp for Android in beta just received a new update that brings us to version 2.16.256 and which have already giants emoticons. Some emoji that can reach disappoint more than one, since by now are not as large nor as impressive as we could expect at first, but the case is starting to arrive.

As we said the giants emoticons for now are found only in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android and as happens on other platforms, such emoticons resized depending on the amount of them to include in the message sent. And it seems that we can not choose size, we send the fewer, larger will be.

WhatsApp for Android and new emoticons

The operation of these giants emoticons is simple, and everything will depend on the amount of them to include in a message. If we put four smileys or more, we will see them as normal size so far. If for example we include two smileys size will be large. And of course if we send only one, the size can be considered extra-giant. Something out of the ordinary until this very moment.

• 4 emoji or more: normal size
• 3 emoji: something bigger than normal
• 2 emoji: Large
• 1 emoji: extra-large size

We can not change the size of the smileys in this first version of WhatsApp for Android, but if you do not want to look so great if we send only an emoticon, we add some text as a point with a space and don’t displayed extra-large size. Needless to say that if we send text next to the emoticon, the figure will look normal size. All this applies only when we send emoticons.
