How to Install WhatsApp PLUS BLUE by AlexMods

To install WhatsApp PLUS BLUE by AlexMods for the first time on our device, we will have to follow a series of important, but at the same time simple steps that we explain below:

1. We make a backup of WhatsApp (Menu > Settings > Chats > Backup and here click on Save). Google Drive backups do not work in any WhatsApp MODs.
2. Uninstall the WhatsApp or modification that we have installed from Google Play (even if it is a modification).
3. We activate the installation of applications from unknown sources, for this, and depending on the version of Android we have:
   • Android 4.1 to 7: Activate the option “Install from unknown sources” or “Unknown sources”. It is usually in Phone Settings > Security.
   • Android 8 or higher: Go to Device Settings > Applications. Here we look for the application from where we are going to install the downloaded APK, any device manager, and in advanced settings we click on Install applications from unknown sources and activate the option. NOTE: Clicking on the APK to install also gives us the possibility to go to settings to activate this option.
4. We download the package or APK we want to install (com.whatsapp for main number).
5. We click on the downloaded APK and follow the typical steps of WhatsApp installation (accept terms and conditions, verify number, restore backup and fill in our profile).
6. When you finish the installation and open for the first time WhatsApp PLUS BLUE by AlexMods, select NEVER in the frequency with which we want to upload backups to Google Drive.

If what we want is to update WhatsApp PLUS AlexMods to the latest version available, simply download the same package or APK that we have installed and click on it. If you do not remember the installed package go to Menu > Settings > Help > App Info.
